I'm so glad I found these guys. They are professional, thorough, and just great all around. They could do what I asked the same day, and they even came after business hours to work around my schedule. They brought two heavy AC boxes from my lobby and quickly put them in, along with a new door lock. They also made sure to take all the trash out with them when they left. I got a lot of quotes for this job, but theirs was by far the best deal. These days, it's hard to find people who work so hard. I will use them again for any repairs I need in the future.

After searching for a handyman, Bill answered the phone and came the same day I called. Someone repaired the gate on my fence, but it began to sag after a few months. When I showed Bill the gate, he immediately knew what to do. He was friendly and professional, and he worked quickly and efficiently. I hired Handyman Bill to replace an old door on the outside that was rotting. He replaced the door the next day, even though the old door frame wasn't perfectly square, pretty quickly and with little trouble. Handyman Bill Can is someone I would use again.

Bill has everything I'm looking for in a handyman. Not only do I like being around him, but he also knows a lot and is very careful. He is responsible and takes the time to answer all of my questions. He took out a squeaky wooden stair and put in a new one with the same finish. He improved a different stair and fixed two spots on the ceiling that were caused by an old pipe leak. Thanks Bill!

We love them so much! We had an outdoor light go out and a shutter fell off our brick house. They came over the next day to fix both problems. They did a great job for a fair price and were friendly and quick to answer questions. We'll be using their services again for sure!

Bill did some work for us today at our house. He came out and gave us an estimate, and today he did the work. The first thing we asked him to do was put up a new lamp-fan pair above our bed. The second thing we did was mount our new TV and sound bar on our back porch. This was hard, but Bill did a great job. It works so well and looks so nice. We have plans for Bill. Great work all around on installing two ceiling fans. When he started working, he found some surprises under the old ceiling fans, but despite the extra work he had to do, he kept my bill extremely affordable. He even went to the store to get things I had forgotten. I'm going to use them over and over again.

We just moved from Wyoming to Kansas, and as expected, there were a lot of little things that needed to be done in our new home. After reading reviews, I contacted Handyman Bill Can, LLC. Bill got back to us right away, gave us an estimate quickly, and we were able to set up a full day's worth of work within two days. He called me about 30 minutes before he was supposed to arrive to let me know he would be on time, which he was. He was great. He was professional, kind, willing to work with us, and patient. Bill Can came to the rescue! My friend’s garage motor broke suddenly and left us with a half-open entrance to her home. For safety reasons we knew it was not a good idea to leave it open overnight. The manual “pull rope” was missing and we called Bill for advise. He was immediately available, super professional, knowledgeable, understanding and kind. I sent him pictures and he coached me on how to safely close it for the night. NO CHARGE! What a wonderful handyman 🔧

We called them to repair a outside dryer vent on the second floor of our house. After we called Bill, he came out the next day, got the parts, and fixed our problem that same day. He was nice and on time, and he did a great job. We will definitely call them if we need repair in the future.

I am very happy with Handyman Bill. He was very easy to work with, quick to respond, fair, and clear about prices and deadlines, and the final product is great. He took down the wallpaper, painted, installed a French door, and turned two bedrooms into one big room with a bed, bathroom, and walk-in closet. Handyman Bill has helped us with a few different things and has always been professional and on time. This time, he installed an outdoor handrail and changed the locks. The work was great! One thing I really like about him is that he always calls back and shows up when he says he will. So many others just don't answer their phones. I would highly recommend Bill! He came over and install a new handrail on the other side of my basement stairs and put back the old one. He worked quickly and well, and when he was done, we were more than happy with his work. The rails are strong, stable, and, most importantly, safe. He polished them and gave them a stain, and now they look great. And they answer emails very quickly.

Bill was able to get to my house the same day after our sink dropped into the cabinet. They did a great job fixing the sink and a small water leak we hadn't noticed yet. Bill replaced the bottoms on all our kitchen drawers with much thicker plywood so they wouldn’t drag when we opened and closed them. He did an excellent job! Will be using him again if we have other random things like this come up that my husband doesn’t want to mess with trying to fix himself.

I sold my house, had it inspected, and it needed some repairs. Bill arrived at my house, gave me an estimate, and scheduled me to return the next day. The next day, he arrived on time, explained what he was doing, did an excellent job, and charged me the agreed-upon price. We needed to get carpet and padding off of our main staircase. Whoever put it up using what seemed like thousands of staples, and we couldn't get rid of them all on our own. Handyman Bill Can, LLC came right away and did the job for a price we thought was well worth paying to have it done right and completely. We are very happy with how everything turned out.

Great job on the porch stairs and the final cost was under his original estimate. After finishing the stairs Bill rebuilt a wall that had been flood damaged. He built a new frame for a door and it closes and locks perfectly. Bill is a true craftsman and a nice guy.

My house was built in 1912, and when we bought it, it was clear that the exterior side door had seen heavy use for a long time. In fact, the door was practically falling to pieces, barely opened, didn’t have a deadbolt that latched, and was secured by the type of interior flip-over bar that you see in hotel rooms. It certainly wasn’t usable! Clearly, this needed to be addressed.
We first had a custom wood door made, sized a little bit big to allow for fitting. But of course, it needed to be installed, and the door frame, threshold, etc. were all in rough shape. Now, the husband is a handy guy, but it was pretty obvious that this project was way above his pay grade. I called ten different handyman services and half of them didn’t even call me back, but Bill promptly returned my message and made an appointment to come actually look at the job (I didn’t trust anyone giving an estimate from a texted photo!). It was clear from that visit that Bill really understood what was involved and was both able and willing to do a quality job, which was very reassuring. He emailed a nicely detailed estimate, and I was able to put a deposit on a credit card online. Bill was also very easy to reach via text message, which was great.
It took a month or two to get worked into Bill’s schedule (weather didn’t help, as this couldn’t be done in the rain), but once he got started, he made our job his top priority. All in all, it took something like five days and involved building a new (square) door frame, fitting and hanging the new door, putting in and keying the knob and deadbolt, installing a new threshold, painting the door, frame, and trim, and even filling in the concrete and caulking along the edge of the house to help prevent water from coming in. I can’t even begin to describe all the skills it took to make this happen, and the end result is a GORGEOUS, FUNCTIONAL door that I can’t wait to actually use.
Needless to say, I can’t recommend Bill highly enough. If you want something done right and you’re willing to pay for quality, give him a call! I’ve already got another job in mind for Bill, and he will definitely be my go-to handyman in the future. I can’t imagine letting anyone else work on my house!
